Then and Now
Wow, it seems as though just yesterday I was signing paperwork, attending Orientation, and ordering my books to start college. I have already taken so much away and have learned so many things I never thought I would have accomplished if not for taking this huge step in my life. I see everyday how much more the radishes and spinach my partner and I planted have grown. To see something that started as a seed, turn into a beautiful vegetable plant makes me think back to my first week of school and how much I have grown since then. I know some days were hotter than others and may have been overwhelming for our plants, just as it was at the beginning of the quarter for me. I definetly found some days to be better than others. Throughout the quarter I learned to manage my time and learned to take things one step at a time. This made my life easier and gave me room to improve other skills. I feel as though I have turned into something bigger and better already. I have watched my little girl grow with me through this wonderful experience as well. It is an awesome feeling to know that I am not only doing this for myself but for her future.

Oh my goodness, I can relate to the good and bad days. Some dayas it feels like a breeze and I wonder why I thought it was so hard... Then the bad days roll in and I wonder why I even got this mess started anyway. I have noticed that you're a little calmer lately. A little sparkle in your eye, or maybe thats just the reflection off that HUGE sparkly bling on your finger! lol Can't wait until we can celebrate our last day of a successful quarter!
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly how I feel! I love the feeling going to college gives you. Its such good feeling of accomplishment! I'm glad this class had the same impact on you, as it did on me! Good luck with English 101, and remember one step at a time:)
